I first noticed something on twitter while I was looking for memes before noon on January 7. A news story about a fire in Pacific Palisades where cars had been abandoned at the corner of Sunset and Palisades Drive was making the rounds. I posted it as the headline of my Tuesday Tidings that early afternoon far before most had any awareness of this. I am almost positive that I am the first person who posted on substack regarding this Palisades Fire though it sounds like you caught on early as well.

The reason it caught my eye was because I knew exactly where the corner of Sunset and Palisades Drive was and had an instant visual in my head of the location. Indeed it is near adjacent to Self Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine which I attended for so many years and I knew one person who lived up that road. My instant question was why the people had fled their cars: this is near the ocean far before Sunset becomes the crowded boulevard it later becomes. I don't even recall a stoplight there back in the day. Palisades dead ends into Sunset there. During crowded SRF services we often parked on the street right around there and walked down to the temple. So if the people were all fleeing by making a right turn headed down towards the Pacific Coast Highway and the ocean the traffic should not have backed up like this. Now it definitely would have backed up if they were all trying to turn left onto Sunset heading up the hill towards Will Rogers State Park. But the only reason I could see for them doing that is if they had a visual on flames down the hill towards the beach which they did not want to drive through. The right turn here would have been 10 times faster for everybody involved.

You now mention that first responders told them to abandon their vehicles there and flee on foot. This blockage of cars on Palisades Drive would have prevented stopping the then small Palisades Fire in its earliest stages. Who ordered that and why?

Now that you remind me, your post was the first notice I got about the fire. I apologize. I should have said so in this post. I did get lost spending the rest of the day watching videos of the fires.

I'm not familiar with that area, but yes, LAFD told folks to evacuate Palisades. Gridlock ensued. Then LAFD told them to abandon their cars. There are videos of people fleeing their cars telling reporters that LAFD told them to abandon their cars. Then they had to bull doze the cars to clear a path... to no avail.

I attended SRF at Swamies beach in Encinitas CA (north SD county).

I sang for the SRF Lake Shrine choir once in front of the Encinitas Temple. When I was growing up my grandparents lived in Cardiff by the Sea and later Carlsbad while my aunt lived in Solana Beach and then Oceanside. I spent as much as I could of every summer there so I am familiar with that area as well.

People are beginning to question the timeline and origin of these blazes as well they should. I think something nefarious happened with that first first response....

I installed new landscapes up and down that northern coastal region of SD county. Surfed at Stone steps in Leucadia few blocks north of SRF. Know the area well.

What are you referring to when you say "something happened with that first response"?

Expand full comment
Amy Sukwan's avatar

I mean that something seems off about the blockage of cars at Palisades Drive and Sunset. I'm going through a google maps and street view on this. See when I mentioned us parking on the street during busy SRF temple events where both the upper and lower parking lot were filled, I meant that literally: there was some limited parking on Sunset but we usually parked on Palisades Drive at that corner. So I have experience with the traffic patterns on a Sunday morning or afternoon when the Temple services got out and hence a lot of people were spilling out and driving from that exact spot. If they were fleeing smoke one would believe there would be a sense of urgency and hence most if not all would make the much faster right turn to get away from the area. Also the cars weren't initally burned: rather some hours later they were bulldozed away for a fire response but by then it was too late and had spread too much. That just never sat right with me...

Yes, I was watching all of that live as it was happening and also thought it all seemed bizarre. I've also looked at maps and don't get it either. It reminds me of how the police blocked Front street in Lahaina and kept people from escaping. Big windfall for car dealers when people go to replace their cars. Are they somehow involved?

Expand full comment
Tom Tunes's avatar

You are kidding on the car dealers, I assume? We need to find some of the people who were involved in that traffic jam. Initial reports were that fire engines couldn't get past the jam either and that was given as a reason for why the fire progressed so quickly. With those extraordinary winds initial response was crucial, and it doesn't appear to have happened. Claiming that air support wasn't possible doesn't make sense to me. It seems more like a stand down.

I live in Encinitas. Sacramento, together will builders and local politicians, have been cramming down increasingly compact and higher development, using the excuse of “affordable housing.” We’re not the only ones on the receiving end, but it makes me concerned that fires will be brought to our area as well, all in order to transform our beach town into a “Smart City.”

Expand full comment
Kyle Young's avatar

Old downtown Encinitas is ripe for that. Also Leucadia because of all the older homes and businesses.

Boy scouts motto... be prepared.

Expand full comment
Tom Tunes's avatar

Kyle, you are beyond spot on! I've been working on fire prevention in my section of Encinitas because I am to the east and this semi-rural area is most at risk of natural fire from Santa Ana's. But Palisades, Altadena, and Lahaina are providing a different lesson. Targeted urban fires of older areas that can be redeveloped into who knows what?: Smart Cities, super luxury housing? may be another category of intentional fire by the perp's. I would include Cardiff as a possible target as well. The houses there are expensive but it is the land and there are many older placed crammed very close together. Normally not a fire-prone place but with wind modification and a few arsonists, not to mention DEW's, it could go up quickly.

Expand full comment
Tom Tunes's avatar

That is a very important question, Amy! If we can get the answer from eyewitnesses it may explain a lot of what happened that day.

Sonja's avatar

I do not see any reason to abandon your car and continue on foot, especially in Lahaina, where we saw photos of many cars abandoned on a street several meters from the ocean. Where are the people who can tell their stories of running from fires? Are they all dead? I think those cars were brought there to enhance the image.

Expand full comment
Kyle Young's avatar

I watched that live as it was happening. A reporter there at that scene talked to four groups of people who were walking toward the ocean as smoke was billowing. All four groups said the LAFD had told them to abandon their homes and later told them to abandon their cars, after they became gridlocked, and head towards the ocean.

Some notes on this Kyle:

Those woke clueless politicians and bureaucrats were installed so that when things like this happen they will get the blame rather than the globalists installing them and setting the woke agenda. It’s backwards from what most think. The “competency crisis” is a deliberate controlled demolition masquerading around as an accident of well meaning useful virtue signaling idiots:

The wildfires were not caused due to incompetence, but rather “on purpose malice” posing as incompetence, and they are likely being started with DARPA directed energy weapons a certain shade of blue is a shield), 100% unvetted terrorist illegal immigrants (“We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked, and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently, and lawfully to become immigrants in this country.”—Obama), looters, and Antifa posing as firemen, just as in 2020:

All of this destruction is geared toward maximizing pain and death, while destroying economic, social, physical, and mental productive capital on a vast scale. All designed to lead directly to global dependence-based enslavement where you will eat ze bugs and own nothing and be happy about it - or else.

In other words, their goal is to demolish our ability to sustain ourselves, transforming us into slaves reliant on their "generosity" for our survival and they’re reaching a level of control where Harari feels confident telling us that our Free Will is over while contemplating killing us outright out loud in public:

“Mr. Harari, thinking about all this, puts it this way: “Utopia and dystopia depends on your values.” … The useless class he describes is uniquely vulnerable. “If a century ago you mounted a revolution against exploitation, you knew that when bad comes to worse, they can’t shoot all of us because they need us,” he said, citing army service and factory work.

Now it is becoming less clear why the ruling elite would not just kill the new useless class. “You’re totally expendable,” he told the audience. … “We don’t need you. But we are nice, so we’ll take care of you.” —Source (worth reading in full): https://archive.is/rWLoO

That's nothing compared to the coverup of 1.2 million excess US deaths from 2020-2022. Deaths increased by 19% in 2020--6 times larger than the largest previous increase--and remained high thru 2021 and somewhat in 2022. Deaths came in a bizarre series of localized waves, resembling a bell-curve or normal distribution.

Even the mainstream Covid narrative covers the numbers up because they are so shocking and strange, and point like a beacon to intentional mass-murder. Most alt-media followers are totally unaware of the excess deaths in 2020, they are routinely either not mentioned at all, or minimized and blamed on incompetence--harmful Covid treatment and prevention protocols. I think many of these ideas could be accurate.

But let's be clear when it comes to science and engineering topics:

Visible light exists in a spectrum covering about one octave. Though colors are often specified by wavelength, that is a derived number based on frequency and transmission medium (usually a vacuum I believe). Light frequencies go from 400 (red) to 800 (violet) TeraHertz (million million cycles per second). "Blue" ranges from 620 to 670 THz, so this range includes 666 THz.

For my entire lifetime we have been relying on civilian researchers to dig into all the various disasters and other events and come up with reliable data and offer theories. Government committees and agencies have been unable or unwilling to assist in this work in any meaningful way.

Yet because these efforts are "unofficial" they can be criticized or ignored.

Over all those years, we have added more research tools to our toolkit. These involve for the most part various "paranormal" techniques. Psychics have been used to solve murders and find missing bodies. Auditors have been uncovering past life experiences (though not often for the public record). Hypnotists have uncovered buried memories from this life and other lives. And remote viewers have used our connection with the Collective Mind to look into our long past and also at future plans.

In many cases, use of these newer tools have validated the work of civilian researchers who used more traditional (forensic) techniques.

But when eye witnesses or former "officials" step forward and talk about things they were told to keep secret, that gives us the most complete picture we can hope for, absent our governments doing the responsible thing and telling the truth.

In this whole scene, the use of DEWs to destroy property is a relatively new idea. And I don't know that we have any paranormal data about this (though we do for many past events). So this is still a bit up in the air.

I watched most of the first (Fabian's) video. That's Fabian Lewkowicz, who calls his channel "Santa Monica Closeup." It does indeed paint an odd picture. The mobile homes are gone while mailboxes and front steps remain. Cars are totally burned out, with all the aluminum parts melted, while the steel parts are usually just scorched, maybe deformed. This indicates the fire temperatures were between 1500 and 2000 degrees F. Wood (like in a wood stove) can burn this hot (it ignites at a much lower temperature), but where is all the wood?

So your questions are valid. What fueled these fires? Most would consider DEW a bizarre possibility. But it has been suggested for 9/11, so the idea has been out there for over 20 years. Unless someone responsible steps forward and tells the truth, the best info we have is from people like yourself.

Thank you Larry.

I first began looking into DEW's with the Paradise California fires in 2018. Much more so with the fires in Lahaina, which I wrote about extensively in earlier posts. So for me it's been about seeing the same patterns of destruction being repeated in these and the numerous other fires I've been tracking over the years (too many to write about), destruction that can only be explained by HPM's. Dr. Woods work on 9/11 remains a great source of information, as does all of the DoD sources I've linked in previous posts.

Imo, there are few or no 'random arsonists ' at these large scale catastrophies. In the very large fires in OR in 2020, residents found individuals trying to set hay bales on fire, getting ready to pour gas on a deck (that perp said he was paid) or lighting a pile of fireworks on the edge of forest (several of these were found by firefighters). You know Kyle, what is fascinating in today's world (I don't know if fascinating is the right word) is how pretty much *everything* is used to push an agenda. "Covid": Shots Hurricane: "Climate Change", etc. In the big picture, I'm not even sure the "how" matters as much as the "why" anymore. Unfortunately, "they" are doing a great job of brainwashing the people to believe that humans are the cause of pretty much everything. Disease, "climate change", scarcity, etc. And, maybe we are to a certain extent of course. What is amazing to me is how little we know about history anymore, especially when it comes to weather events, natural disasters, or even just plain accidents. I realize this link is from Wikipedia, but it seems pretty accurate. The LA fires reminded me of a great fire that happened before we had "DEWs", "climate change", etc. The Great Chicago Fire of 1871 killed 300 people and burned the hell out of about 3.3 square miles. The differences are obvious, of course, but the main difference is the way it was handled. As far as I know, politicians and illegal world organizations didn't use the Great Chicago Fire as a way to push a *fake* "climate change" agenda or to force people off of the land. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Chicago_Fire We live in interesting times. Unfortunately, in my opinion, I still don't see the type of awakening of the people it would take to overcome what's coming. I hope I'm wrong. But, if I'm not, and I watch every good thing that was our country and our world come to an end, I'm glad I'm not a young person that's going to have to live in this hellscape they are not only accepting as "normal"... but cheering as the chains are put around their ankles.
