A wonderful way to do things if secular. As a Christian, and a 'senior senior', I believe we hold similar values

but do things 'hidden in plain sight', right in the face of the matrix, yet we are not in the matrix.

We USE it, pay for it, and it works out.

I too was grieved about your avocado grove. The Bible is very specific when people study it, and at

the very beginning in 'genesis', it says that Elohim (or gods) gave man 'dominion' over the animals,

etc. I'd have to reread it to get it right, as it's been some time.

People NEVER did Dominion correctly. That meant 'take care of them'. That meant 'you're in charge'

and people thought 'money, advantage', 'get ahead'.

Right away going way wrong.

We have the privilege to seek to do things better.

In our little area, we have 'dominion', so the trees, things we grow can depend on us to help them.

And do they EVER try to outdo and show us how much they appreciate the care.

Getting up in years, we can't always DO what we'd like, and we EXPLAIN that to them in our minds,

help them know we CARE nevertheless.

Everything alive, and I include trees, stones, has some 'essence' and we can all tap into this.

You'll find THEY are your friends, won't let you down, won't deceive you. So can I make sure

of the same? Yes, actually, I can.

And so I offer this to readers to expand your communications with the living.

Many people are going 'dead', and you'll find there's little real good discussion

happening in society, and mostly miscommunication.

This is what makes Substack a GIFT, unique.

Let us ALL here take DOMINION of what we're given, and show..whateveryou believe,

God?, the universe?, others? what it's like when we 'give back'.

Thanks for a wonderful discussion, and I totally agree that you have to 'do something else',

which is what we do here.

Interesting about a Geodesic Dome. Way back, as a musician going Montreal to join a band on a cruise ship, I got to spend some time viewing B.Fullers geodesic Dome there. The American pavilion. The worlds fair, 1976 ? I swear that Fuller was standing right beside me, standing still, just marveling at his creation. Sadly, the issue of windows and that the domes leak killed them off. Replacing rebar with bamboo in shotcrete domes might work Great. These hurricane and earthquake proof structures are impressive and can be very beautiful ! My favorite B.Fuller book is 'cosmography'. Have you read it ?

Hi Kyle, I met you at a CHD meeting last year and have been following you ever since. I actually did find an integrative doctor in Tucson who told me my house was making me sick. After 3 years of going to various doctors trying to find out why I was so sick, she said it was mold. That was in 2012. After three years of treatment I finally turned the corner.

I have acreage that I would love to put sustainable, biophilia designed homes on, in Southern Oregon & Northern California. Looked into options, & Bamboo is so beautiful, but I don't know enough, and it seems that the Loci Genii should be involved, with local materials.

Studied Underground Homes in the

1970s; by now we should have methods that really work.

Please share lots of ideas!

Ooh what delightful and inspiring images of buildings! Generally, I don't like buildings made of bricks, blocks, concrete and glass. They have no warmth about them. Bamboo is so versatile and pretty!

I grew a bamboo stand alongside one of my irrigation trenches at my fruit farm in Spain. I had transplanted some from a nearby streambank. It grew tall and began to shield a bald part of my chainlink fencing, completing my need for privacy (I often worked naked among my trees!). The sound of it in the slightest breeze was music, adding to the existing symphony - tiny waterfalls in my miles of irrigation trenching, hundreds of nesting birds and the constant satisfied chortles of my free range chickens.

Eventually, I was able to harvest a few lengths to build a large wigwam shaped woodstore which would be full to bulging in September as I prepared for the cold winter nights.

Had I seen your photos at the time I would have been inspired to build more structures such as (for example) shade shelters for my horse and dogs. My fruit farm was on the south face of the mountain Almanzor in the Sierra de Gredos central Spain. I worked through 50 degrees C in high summer and the water in my swimming pool would feel super cool, yet was 28 degs C at such times!

Now, back on the south coast of England, I can hardly remember how it felt to be baking in such glorious weather! We have had almost constant rain since June here! Worst wet summer/autumn/winter I have ever known!

Sadly, I hear from Spain that the chemtrailing is clouding their ubiquitous clear skies nowadays! Knowing the Spanish as well as I do, that will be causing chronic depression. They sink into sulking misery during just one day of cloud and rain! I used to find that so funny, being a soggy bottomed Brit totally used to more cloudy than clear days!

Beautiful poignant story. I follow Stacker Frances Leader aka Boodica who had an off grid Finca in Spain long ago. This video was in a recent post...

I will post yours on hers in comments.

I came across this wonderful by chance, via Substacker, Amy Sukwan, https://amysukwan.substack.com/?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=web&utm_campaign=substack_profile

and I am delighted I have found you. I spend most of my days focusing on ways to help humanity wake up, and just to look at beautiful pictures of bamboo structures was soothing...thank you. They are incredible. It is incredible — the natural beauty that others can create.

I also restacked your beautiful quote:“You never change things by fighting the existing reality.

To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”

― Buckminster Fuller

My heart and LOVE repeatedly advise me to focus on a new reality, one of choice, one where the children run free, where peace and unity is present. Focusing on our reality of choice actually reduces the reality of chaos we are immersed in. It starts to change as more join in and as more maintain that image above all things.

Like you, I believe that our Creativity is powerful. In fact, my heart guided me that our Creativity is a destination — as well as a gift — t is a place, and if we ask through our hearts to be transported there, to this deep place of clarity, we can rest there awhile and create our dreamed and longed for reality. Anything is possible if it it best serves all precious life.

Those who seek power and control fear our gifts of Creativity, because when humanity discover that those who control and harm all life cannot create — they have used us and manipulated us to create their chosen reality...When we all realise that we can re-create a new reality — one that we would actually like, the war on our consciousness is truly over.

May 2024 be the year that humanity tap into their unlocked potential of Creativity and may they also realise that they hold the power within their hearts to end all suffering and save the children. It is not philosophy, it is untapped potential. When my husband was diagnosed with stage four cancer in 2022, one of the many things we did was focus on him being well and we drew a picture of this and kept it in our hearts. We followed the guidance while he had treatment. We listened to our hearts. He was given the all clear in November 2022. Hope, Faith, and Trust are frequencies and Creativity is also a frequency. If we all tapped into the frequencies of LOVE, Peace, Unity, Clarity, Creativity, etc, and if we called on the most powerful healing frequencies — which my heart advised are, Hope, Faith, and Trust, then more would survive cancer and other serious illness.

I totally agree that we need to focus on solutions going forward.

Thank you so much for this wonderful post.

Bamboo is one of my favorite materials to work with my first husbnd was quite the craftsman with it. Unfortunately due to issues with the Phuket land we are not allowed to build anything new or so they've claimed. This is beautiful work nonetheless...

Thanks Kyle. I just read most of your part-1 of deep earth homesteading, and have picked up your trail here, seeing that we also have Arizona in common.

I worked at the Chinle Indian Hospital in Chinle for my first 2 years after Family Practice residency training 1990-1992. I see familiar "faces" in your comments section.

I built a modest "dream-house" that I designed, contracted, and finished-in over a year and a half, after I got fired for vaccine-refusal in October 2021.

I got fired planting the fall/winter vegetables in the garden I made and kept for the clinic. I had been the only doc treating with repurposed antivirals.

Thanks for sharing that great story !

Such beautiful designs and material, I am also fascinated by the Chinese " puzzle" buildings that also sway and survive earthquakes better than

" conventional " methods

I would love to learn more about building with bamboo. Does anyone have a book or a website that they would be able to recommend to a beginner?
