However, for the greater society, regulatory avenues remain the most present option. In the past they have worked relatively well, and with some intestinal fortitude I believe they can do so again. That is, until we work out my ultimate solution - banning all government agencies and making it affordable for the common person to take corporations or other wealthy entities to court on a level playing field.

In the past there was a heavily used trail used by people and burros that went down river from Batopilas about 5 miles to the lost mission and nearby village. That may have been turned into a road by now.

Where and when exactly did this take place?
It was in 1987 on the road from Creel, Chihuahua (on the rim of Barranca del Cobre) to Batopilas, which is just a little over a stone throw away in the bottom of the canyon but takes 8 hours to drive there. It's a long story that I still want to tell. Thanks for reminding me.

That must be a new development. Last time I was there the road didn't go beyond Batopilas. That was around 1990.
