how reagan neocons used drugs to clear a path for globalists - part 1
then and in part two, now
Jean Baudrillard
Welcome back to the sietch you freedom loving bunch of radical heretics! Today were going to a place I’ve never talked about before. Even the dear friends I’ll be having a whole roasted pig with later today don’t know this about me.
To lend credence to this story, I need to preface it with some history of my early life, a part of my life that few know about because it’s a period that in some respects, I now regret. Nevertheless, it exists and, as it turns out, those risky adventures I experienced have provided me with some insight into how the deep-state works on behalf of globalists.
Long time readers know that back in the 70’s and 80’s I lived on a small farm in northern San Diego county (which borders Mexico), a much freer place back then. My girlfriend and I spent a lot of time working in the garden, tending Nubian goats, bodysurfing and practicing on the beach with a few professional frisbee friends (hey Rocket!). From our rural avocado farm we could look out the kitchen window, down a valley, and see the Pacific Ocean 4 miles away. We spent many weeks camping along wild stretches of the Pacific coast of Baja California Norte a few hundred miles south of the border. Being of Mexican descent, she was fluent in Spanish and one of the reasons I loved spending time in Mexico with her was to improve mine. There we would camp on the beach, snorkel, spear fish, gather herbs and seaweed, all of which we would prepare for a 100% locally derived meal of wild food cooked over a campfire on the beach.
Nuevamente, percibí el poder indescriptible de la vida pura que subyace al universo, el mayor y único poder verdadero.
What I’m about to say now may surprise many readers. I hope you’ll stay with me to the end because I haven’t been involved with any of this for nearly 40 years. People do change.
During that time I also bred Cannabis sativa. My goal was not to grow large quantities and make lots of money. No, I was more interested in improving my strains by using natural cross pollination techniques a la Gregor Mendel. I was aided by my girlfriends brother - let’s call him Juan - who worked for a big time grower in LA who had one of the first large indoor warehouse operations growing under powerful metal halide lights (this was before the authorities learned they could locate these operations using helicopter mounted heat detection devices). As he did on occasion, Juan drove down the coast to visit us one spring. Upon arrival he explained that his boss had just returned from a trip to Afghanistan where he had acquired some seed of what was then an unknown variety of Cannabis indica from the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan. He gave me a few dozen of what may have been the first introduction of Hindu Kush seed into the US. That seed forever changed not only my breeding program, but the breeding programs of all other West Coast growers of that era who eventually got their hands on some of that seed. Anyone out there who is a connoisseur will know what I’m talking about.
As a side note, Juan died some years later from a heroin overdose. It was very sad, he was a good guy and a great surfer.
I’m telling this story to explain that yes, I was peripherally involved in the Cannabis trade at that time. And back then, if you were involved in the Cannabis trade you also knew about the dealings of some of the darker aspects of the illicit drug trade, especially as they pertained to more dangerous drugs like cocaine and heroin.
While the cultivation, buying and selling of Cannabis was quite illegal back then, during that early time in the trade it was also a fine example of a local, entrepreneurial business, all conducted on handshakes and the trusted word of good friends. Ones business depended entirely upon the integrity of ones word. Cartels existed then, but they were typically involved in the more dangerous and profitable drugs like cocaine and heroin, which I never got involved with.
It was clear to those of us who had a profound understanding of these things that the DEA was incorrectly lumping Cannabis in with much more dangerous schedule 1 drugs like cocaine and heroin. During the late 70’s through the mid 80’s, I watched helplessly while some of my friends succumbed to the ravages of cocaine and heroin. Because of this, I knew I never wanted to have any part of any substance other than what God freely provided in the form of unprocessed medicinal herbs.
reagan’s biggest acting role ever
In 1980 Reagan and his deep-state, globalist neocons came in to supposedly, crack down on Cannabis by ramping up criminality laws. This was all a massive ruse, but it did what they wanted - it turned the formerly low risk, moderately profitable business of growing Cannabis or smuggling it across the border into an exceedingly dangerous business. Their goal was achieved. The ultimate result of this criminality ramp-up was that it also drove prices into the stratosphere. Not surprisingly, that also drew the attention of more ruthless criminal elements, the cartels. They began moving in on the homegrown Cannabis trade. If you want a rough idea (the Hollywood version) of how this worked during the 1980’s watch the movie Savages, which takes place just a short drive up the coast from where I lived and occurs a few years after I moved away from the San Diego area. The movie is accurate in that the DEA working in cahoots with the CIA manage the cartels and… still do so.
The goal had been achieved. The CIA now had a highly profitable product that could be easily grown and processed and used to bank-roll their dirty operations on behalf of globalists all over Latin America. Profits for everyone involved - especially banks - skyrocketed. More on the banksters role in part two.
The reason all of this occurred is because the CIA and its deep state operatives were being stymied by Congress from getting the funding they wanted to go full-tilt with their globalist expansionism agenda on behalf of the globalist corporations they work for. The CIA wanted an independent funding source apart from Congress and highly profitable illicit drugs was a source tailor made for the type of dark operations they are good at. It was for this reason that the drug trade was purposely blown into what it is today - a money making machine for those deep state operatives working on behalf of the globalists to procure dark money to fund dark ops around the world, all to help move the new world order/globalist agenda forward.
One of the better known aspects of this globalist operation was Reagan and Casey’s Mena, Arkansas operation where drugs were being smuggled (flown) by the CIA into Mena to pay for illegal CIA ops in Nicargua and El Salvador. Just to remind everyone, this all took place while Clinton was governor of Arkansas.
Here is the indefatigable Sarah Meclendon, (one of the last real reporters) a White House reporter since Franklin Roosevelt, grilling president Clinton in October of 1994 about that operation. As the video makes clear, Clinton’s response was, of course, a lie.
The movie, American Made with Tom Cruise playing Barry Seal, is the story of Barry Seal, the CIA’s primary pilot running cocaine into Mena, Arkansas during the Reagan administration and Clinton’s governorship. If you want a more accurate and detailed version of this story, watch this two hour documentary.
The reason this CIA drug smuggling operation never saw much light at that time is because this was taking place during the Iran-Contra affair, which had the media completely preoccupied at that time. That was back when the media still covered certain aspects of government wrong doings instead of glorifying all aspects as they’ve done with covidcon.
Reagan’s occupation of the White House in 1980 was followed by Democratic control of Congress in ‘82. That Congress passed the Boland Amendment which was meant to restrict the activities of the CIA and the DoD in foreign conflicts (but not domesticly).
Reagan was clearly enamored with the Nicaraguan Contras, comparing them to our Founding Fathers. What he failed to tell us was… they were using cocaine trafficking to fund their revolution.
Long Iran/Contra story short, the Iranian backed Hezbollah in Lebanon were holding 7 American hostages and Iran needed arms, except, there was an embargo on selling arms to Iran. So, in a very complex, very illegal deal, CIA director William Casey and the Reagan administration got the arms for the Iranians, the Iranians got the hostages set free, and Oliver North took 18 million of the money Iran paid to the US for those arms and diverted it to the Contras in Nicaragua.
Because William Casey, who epitomizes the neocon mind set, played an outsized role in all of this, we need to remember that William Casey ran Reagan’s successful campaign bid to get into the White House in 1980. Reagan returned the favor by appointing him director of the CIA, a position he took over in January of 1981. This was not Caseys preferred position, but he agreed to take the job if he could have input on foreign policy. So Reagan elevated his job to a cabinet level position so he could have his desired input on foreign policy.
It will come as no surprise to some of you that William Casey was a Jesuit, trained at Fordham University, and that he often flew in a windowless black jet with covered windows to Rome to attend secret meetings with the Pope. He was also a member of Knights of Malta, which has deep ties to the Jesuits. If you want more information about this and other aspects of the hierarchy of the puppet masters, read this.
A few minutes after writing all of the above, I watched an interview of Whitney Web with Jimmy Dore where she essentially verifies my version of Casey’s desire to establish drug running and arms sales as a permanent source of funding for CIA globalist black ops.
Web also pointed out some things I didn’t know - Casey is also a former Bear Sterns lawyer and was known to use sexual blackmail to persuade people to do what he wanted. It’s at this point, in the early 80’s, that Jeffery Epstein, who also worked at Bear Sterns, steps into the picture with Casey.
In 1980/81, while the CIA was smuggling cocaine into the US and Oliver North was working his deals in Central America and Iran and Hezbollah were doing their things and the Contras were working with Reagan officials, I was traveling in my 1972 Chevy Luv pickup through Mexico and Belize, on my way to Nicaragua. Fortunately, or not so fortunately, depending on how you look at it, after several encounters with some armed CIA Contras in Belize - one of which got a friend of mine thrown in the Belize City jail - I decided my life was more important than gaining some on-the-ground insight into the reality of the situation in Nicaragua and reluctantly, decided to not go all the way to Nicaragua.
However, the effort was not completely wasted. While spending time in a remote little town on the border of Guatemala, I made the acquaintance of a free-lance spy who spoke very refined Castilian Spanish (learned in Columbia), decent Mayan and a smattering of other native Central American languages. He was so adept at moving in the circles of both the native peoples of the region and the CIA that he was completely at ease with what he was doing… selling, shall we say, ‘select’ information to the CIA. It was from him that I first learned that the CIA was running cocaine from Columbia into the US and that the Reagan administration was fully complicit. He knew this because he had been present when CIA planes had landed in Nicaragua and loads of Colombian cocaine were transferred to other planes to be delivered to Florida, according to him - and probably Arkansas as well.
A short side bar here. Because of of my involvement in all of these activities, years later I began watching Miami Vice years later. More recently I watched the movie version with Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx. The movie version actually touches on the fact that the local Miami police were fighting their own Federal government in this war.
Lest we forget, at the same time the Reagan administration was overseeing this aspect of the covert Contra war program, first lady Nancy Reagan was promoting her campaign to American kids to “Just say no to drugs”. As I’ve noted before, these people are not beholding to any party politics, there is no such thing as one party being better than the other. Hypocrisy holds no meaning among globalist operatives. They have no morality. To them there is no right or wrong, there is only the globalist agenda and they are willing to wage war on all of us to impose it.
As I said, I’m not telling this story because I’m proud of this background, I’m telling it to substantiate that I had inside information on how the illicit drug industry was transformed into a long term and very profitable war on Americans during the Reagan era. After all, the ‘war on drugs’, declared by Nixon on June 17, 1971, is the longest ongoing war in the history of the US.
Because of the time I spent in Mexico and other parts of Central America and what I learned there, and because of what some of my connections in California were telling me, it was becoming clear that to continue to stay in the game meant one either had to play by globalist rules or, get out. I got out.
That’s not the complete story of my involvement in that business (there are some bombshells that need to wait for the right time) but that’s all I’m going to say at this point.
In part two we’ll look at how this same deep state/globalist game plan was used by big pharma and their ‘vaccine’ industry.
It’s 1971, I’m 17, a freshman in college and this song is still at the top of the charts.
Thanks for highlighting some deep state connections I did not previously know about. These perverts blackmail each other as an inverted form of protection. The sickness is beyond rehabilitation, in my assessment.
Also, reading the phrase "war on drugs," I thought about humanity's mass hypnosis and feel that perhaps we should restate it: "War, on drugs."
Many think Ronald Reagan was a great president. I even helped in my small way as a Republican supporting him. He seemed to be a much better choice than Carter with his "conservative" viewpoints. He talked as if he was pro-life and even for the return of school prayer. His actions, however, did no such thing. It was simply words to get the conservative Christian vote.
As his administration went on he promoted NAFTA, then he did the unthinkable - amnesty for illegal aliens, opening Pandora's Box to an invasion unlike this nation has ever witnessed until Joe Biden. It was all started by Ronald Reagan.
Most you are sharing about Iran/Contra I learned years ago from a website by the helicopter piolot that flew drugs from Nicaragua to Mena. They were in taped up insulated containers. They looked like organ transplants. One day he looked inside and saw the drugs. He was still alive when I read his post describing his life. Not too long afterwards, he was killed. I'm sure it was to silence him, but it was too late.
He noted how G.H. Bush was involved and Bill Clinton. The amount of money was obscene. The supposed hero Col. North was nothing more than a drug dealer working illegally, betraying his country.
Reagan, whether he would admit to it or not, was on the globalist side and did their bidding. He was pro-communist, though preaching against it for years. He opposed it in the Soviets, but opened the flood gates here in the U.S.
